Scope of Maintenance Review
Our home maintenance review is designed to point out areas of the home that may require attention. We rate the condition of the home exterior including roofs & gutters, decks, walls, doors, windows, fences, siding, wood condition, garage, grading, sidewalks and more. We also review the home interior including bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, utility room, family and living rooms, basement - all including wall, ceiling and flooring condition. We also review plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and heating systems and document any observations regarding these systems and recommend service as appropriate. Our review does not currently cover appliances.
We use advanced thermography (infrared camera technology) as an excellent tool to track the source of water leaks, locate overloaded electrical circuits and breakers, instantly identify costly leaks in ductwork, locate weather-stripping failures, and find air leaks around windows, doors and outlets. It can also be used to confirm proper heating and cooling performance and balance by accurately measuring outlet temperatures.
Report Format
An efficient Excel-based report is used that is both informative and easy to read. The report includes a summary maintenance score (for tracking home condition over time), as well as a rating for condition of individual rooms, structure and systems.
