Service Agreement

With the Handyman Plus Service Agreements, you can expect a certain level of commitment and dedication from the ABC Handyman team. The Service Agreement is designed with the homeowner in mind by providing consistent and "Extra-Care" service from service checks to priority service for any repairs or breakdowns.

ABC "Extra-Care" service Agreement

What is included in the service agreement?

Two service checks a year per system

Spring/Summer
Fall/Winter

ABC "Extra-Care" Cooling tune up

Clean outdoor condenser coil and remove debris from unit
Check air temperatures to assure proper cooling
Inspect condenser and blower motor operation, and lubricate as neccessary
Check amp draw and electrical connections on Compressor
Test operation of Compressor contactor and points
Inspect all capacitors and relays
Check refrigerant pressures and inspect for leaks
Inspect Indoor Evaporator coil if accessible
Clear condensate drain lines
Check all safety controls for proper operation
Inspect condition of filters
Check blower wheel operation and cleanliness
Evaluate overall efficiency of systems and inform customer of its condition
Level and test Thermostat for accuracy

ABC "Extra-Care" Heating tune up

Check pilot assembly and inspect thermocouple
Test for carbon monoxide
Examine flue and inspect venting for proper operation
Clean Heat Exchanger and inspect for cracks or leaks
Clean all burner assemblies
Verify ignition systems
Verify proper inducer motor operation
Evaluate condition of air filters
Inspect blower motor and lubricate, if necessary
Inspect gas piping and check for leaks
Clean all condensate drains
Confirm proper operation of Thermostat
Check flame sensor
Evaluate overall efficiency of system and make recommendations

Heat Pump units include:

Inspection and testing of reversing valve
Inspection of Heating elements
Inspection and testing of defrost system
Check refrigerant pressures
